The National Peace Foundation’s FaceIt program captures the histories of citizen peacebuilders to help inspire and empower others -- especially the next generation. FaceIt connects people through a common vision of grassroots peacebuilding – it’s about passing your stories to future generations.

FaceIt captures the stories of NPF’s global community of ethically engaged individuals, collectively, whose work has had a significant impact on the lives of others. By sharing the extraordinary stories of citizen peacebuilders, FaceIt helps to preserve the legacy of those who have lived the methods of conflict resolution as it has evolved at NPF over the years. These stories contribute to our efforts to educate future generations of peacebuilders through internships, apprenticeships and advanced fellowship programs.

FaceIt is not about stories of fame, fortune, or grand recognition. FaceIt is about the important, but often unheralded work of people who have dedicated their time and energy to improving their corner of the world. These stories deserve to be recorded, heard, and re-told. NPF wants to keep the accounts of this important work alive so that others can learn. Our hope is to inspire future generations so that they will continue the important work of citizen peacebuilding.
