Welcome to the National Peace Foundation! Celebrating its twenty-fifth anniversary in 2007, the National Peace Foundation is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) dedicated to building foundations for peace around the world. We are committed to creating alternatives to war and violence through empowering and supporting the efforts of a wide network of citizen peacebuilders in the United States and abroad. Our programs help people and their leaders develop citizen networks, advance peace education, and promote democratic values through international exchanges.
Follow the links on this page to learn more about the National Peace Foundation and how you can become a member.
In the wake of the armed conflict of early August, 2008 in Georgia, there are many displaced children, families and pensioners who have been forced to flee their homes. They are in desperate need of material assistance, and the best way to assist them is to send a donation to one of the many humanitarian aid organization active in Tbilisi.
The National Peace Foundation would suggest that you consider making a donation via the American Friends of Georgia by following the link below:

*Please indicate that your donation is intended for the Victims of the Ossetian Crisis.

"With NPF celebrating one of the most active years in its quarter-century history, we continue to build bridges with our international partners. As a longtime member of the National Peace Foundation, I constantly find myself looking at those who will carry the torch of peace building for our children and grandchildren.
